I am reminded every day how lucky I am to be the principal of Tyler Elementary School. I love teaching and learning, and at Tyler we are committed to providing your child with rich learning and educational experiences. I believe in doing what is best for children, and I will always use this as my guiding force when making decisions about our school.
I welcome you to involve yourself in our school in a variety of ways.
Together, we can make this school year a success!

Holiday Gift Shopping at Artsonia
Did you know that you can purchase holiday greeting cards, ornaments, and more at our online art gallery? Right now, Artsonia is having a holiday ornament sale that features your child's artwork (from our gallery or your computer). The ornaments are beautiful and come in a gift box with a ribbon all ready for hanging. Each ornament is $9.95 and comes in three styles: metallic sleigh, metallic present, and ceramic snowflake. These make wonderful gifts for family and friends and keepsakes for your own collection. Take a look by visiting Artsonia at www.artsonia.com today. Remember, 20% of the proceeds of any Artsonia purchase come directly to our Tyler Art Program!
If you have any questions about Artsonia or any other art matter, please feel free to email our Art Teacher, Mrs. Ten Broeck at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Michigan's Common Core Standards
All Tyler teachers use the MIchigan Common Core Standards to plan, implement, and assess the lessons they teach in their classrooms. Building on the excellent foundation of standards states have laid, the Common Core State Standards are the first step in providing Tyler students with a high-quality education. It should be clear to every student, parent, and teacher what the standards of success are. You can read the Common Core by clicking on the tab at the far right of your screen --->.
